Third Eye Chakra
The third eye chakra is located in the brow area. Which can expand from the upper lip to the upper region of the
forehead. The third eye is just below the crown and about three fingers above the eye brows. From the back of the
head it will extend down to the occipital ridge of the base of the skull. The chakras are positioned in the back a little
lower than the front view. It will be about three fingers or four from the top of the head in the back.
The color is indigo. It is the purplish blue colors you see in church. Also, the color can be viewed when you close your
eyes. Remember seeing this dark purple color with your eyes closed - usually when meditating. That purple you are
viewing is actually your third eye. You are seeing it this way because it is open and expanded outward. All chakras
when fully open and somewhat clear of blocks can radiate four to six inches from the body.
The element related to the third eye is telepathic.
This is also called the 6th chakra, brow chakra and the anja chakra.
Our thoughts that are associated with the third eye are of our self image and how we view the world. How it is
viewed and also ours and others place within it. The vision we project out about ourselves and our desires is how we
manifest it.
Body and organ parts that are governed by the third eye are; the pituitary gland, entire endocrine system, immune
system, sinuses, eyes, ears, and the face.
Within the third eye chakra we will find the qualities of our own self image. How we view our own self. Our good
ego is with in this energy center. It is the knowing that we fit in and belong in some way with the world. How we
view the world is here also and others.
Developing this chakra is on top of most individuals lists. When this chakra is developed or in the process of it will
open your clairvoyant abilities. Not everyone has the same and all abilities possible but the most common is
telepathic. This is a natural ability that we all have. Telepathic is receiving messages and thoughts from the universe
and others on this earth plane. Not all individuals or psychics have the ability to see visually. Meaning seeing images
and the other side; spirit guides, angels and etc. That is more of an unique gift.
During our contract with spirit before reincarnating on this earth plane each time we bring with us certain gifts and
abilities. These abilities develop and awaken on their own. The best way to develop the third eye and help in the
clearing of the energy is to meditate. All the great psychics of the day including Sylvia Brown, John Edward, James
Van Praagh and more all recommend the only way to do so is by meditation. Through meditation will allow you to
explore you - your inner self and the main intent is to bring more light in to heal, develop and awaken.
When looking for a psychic or clairvoyant you would want to find one that has a completely healed third eye. This is
especially true for one that says they can see clearly clairvoyantly. A block would not allow them to be completely
clear. One of the things to check would be are they wearing or using glasses, contact lenses and things like that
would indicate a block.
How do you know that you have a third eye chakra blocks?
Blocks within can be cause by our own emotions and how we live our lives. It is not always someone else doing to us
that causes blocks. It is our own actions and allowing that make blocks within.
Some of the signs that the third eye chakra is blocked are:
A persons that has blocks in the third eye are usually have one or more of the following: (please remember the blocks
do not make the person do this - the do these actions on their own.)
When the third eye does get blocks from situations and emotions it can be some of the following and that it relates
to: fear of the future, being impatient, always late for appointments, over sensitive, ego - meaning that you think you
are better than anyone else and or that you are the best, how you view others including being judgmental.
If an individual pushes a development or forces a development of this chakra, one serious things can happen with the
physical body. Including shutting down that chakra for a long time. One thing can happen to the third eye when
pushed and rushed is eye sight problems and pituitary problems. Sometimes the damage can be great that it can not
be corrected or not be able to be fully healed. All gifts and abilities must be allowed to naturally develop and
awaken. That is when it will come in strong and accurate.
It will affect when blocked; the eyes, ears, sinus, pituitary gland, brain, face and hormones.
Some of the ways to heal this chakra would be to do releasing. Changing the ways that you view others and yourself.
Release and let go are the key words. Reiki is a wonderful way to heal this and also to bring more light in by adding
the reiki energy to develop it.
Crystals can be used which could be; amethyst, Lapis Lazuli, fluroite, sodalite, azuirite and others that are
associated with the third eye.
Essential oils can be used.

in - dreaming, more vivid dreams and visions.
- Cedarwood; clearing and strengthening for the mind.
- Juniper; assists with clairvoyance.
- Lemon; lifts and clarifies the mind.
- Grapefruit; wonderful oil for using to vision or meditate.
- Peppermint; increases receptivity.
- Rosemary; promotes clear thinking. Also, gives insight and understanding.
- Sandalwood; is calming and brings in focus.
