
FULL MOON
During the full moon is the time to release all your negative energies by the power of the moon.
Native Americans and other belief systems used the power of the moon for many thousands of years. The full moon
releases are negativity and at a time for clearing in our lives.
I have done this clearing ceremony for many of years and have felt the power and benefits from doing so. This can be
incorporated into your part of healing within your lives.
The best time to use the power of the full moon is a day before till two days after the full moon.
Before the full moon you’ll want to start a list on a piece of paper. This paper can be regular paper, parchment paper
or rice paper. The color should be white.
What we’re going to write upon this paper is all for negative emotions and any situations that we want to be helped
and assist by the full moon.
On your list you may want to add some emotions example: sadness, worry, the year, hate, and or anxiety just to name a
few. You also can add any situations in which you may be going through that you would like assistance to be
released from. This does not release any one that is attached to it out of your life or removing them completely from
this the earth. But it allows you to clear some of the negative energy that is attached to the situations and also by
asking for assistance from the universe to help you through whatever maybe you are going through at the moment.
The situations can even be addictions, obsessions, compulsions, anything that you can think that you would like to be
released.
Take your time by doing the list. I recommend that you do it at least a couple days ahead of time. Because you’ll be
surprised how many thoughts that will come through your mind of things that you need to be released or healed from
you. Remember the thoughts that come into our minds are usually from our spirit guides, higher self and spirits. They
are here to assist you on this learning plane and they know what you need to release and heal.
So keep a small notepad or the paper you are using with you at all times so when you have the thoughts come into
your mind you are able to write them down.
When we put these things on the paper that we want to release and let go of we are actually doing part of the
healing at this time with your intent. We are putting this energy into the paper. So the paper will have the energy
that we’re releasing within it so that when we burn the paper we will notice how the fire will react to this energy.
The day that you have planned to do this releasement here are few things that you’ll want to do.
- This is done at night time when the full moon is up in the sky. To not worry if you have over cast or it is cloudy out
that night and you are a not able to see the full moon. But remember that it is still there.
- You will want to do this outside and use a safety container, or a fireplace or anything that you can have and find
that you can burn this paper in. Some people use a large clay pot and placing a few inches of sand in the bottom
of it. But they use this each month for their ritual.
- Take the paper and with your intent you can either rip the paper in two for a few times.
- With wooden matches light the paper and place it into the safety container.
- When you are lighting the paper you can say in your mind’s eye or out loud - this is done before you lite the
paper.
- ‘ I ask for this list to be released from me and to be healed and let go of for the highest good of all. I ask
grandmother moon and spirit to take this to heal it with love and light. To take this negative energy and to bring
back positive in return.' And so it be.
You will notice how the flames are burning. They may burn very large if you’re releasing anger, hatred or frustrations.
We are releasing energy when we are doing this releasement ritual. Those emotions are very negative and very
strong that the fire will show these emotions by making the flames larger. When we release emotions like sadness or
worry where the flame is usually normal size or small. At this time while you were releasing you can do any prayer
work that you choose that will be appropriate at this time.
Do not leave the fire alone, stayed there until it is completely has burned out.
You may notice that some of the paper may have not had burned. Sometimes if you try relighting it you may have
trouble lighting it. This is usually meant that you are still holding onto something on your list or have too many
lessons attached to it. You may want to try burning again in which your pure intent releases what is still attached.
After the paper in the fire has completely cool or even the next morning make sure that you take the ashes and
dispose of them in a bag. This is so that no one will ever be able to touch them as this is negative energy. You may
also take the ashes and bury them in the earth.
